Our Chicago apartments are concentrated across Downtown Chicago, putting them within easy reach of Northwestern (Streeterville campus), DePaul (Loop campus), Loyola (Water Tower campus), the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and Columbia College Chicago. For students at University of Chicago (Hyde Park), our Downtown apartments offer a 20-30 minute commute via Metra Electric or the #6 bus.
All bills are included in our rates - utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly housekeeping and linen are all covered in one monthly price. There are no hidden extras. Our rates are inclusive of all city taxes.
It really depends on the size, amenities and location of the apartment. While studio apartments start from $5,000 per month, larger apartments in prime Downtown Chicago neighbourhoods can command significantly higher rates. Our standard minimum stay is 30 nights, which makes us a strong fit for semester stays, exchange programmes, summer schools and full academic years. Our average student length of stay is between 4 and 9 months.

Yes - many of our Chicago bookings are made by parents. Select Parent or guardian as your purpose of stay when enquiring and our team will guide you through the process. We do not require a US co-signer, proof of income, or credit checks - and payments can be split into up to four instalments.
No. Unlike traditional Chicago leases, we don't require a US-based co-signer, proof of income, or a US credit history. This makes us a particularly strong option for international students, exchange students and visiting scholars who don't have established US financial records.
Yes. All Student Luxe apartments come fully furnished with hotel-standard bedding and linen, fully-equipped kitchens with pots, pans, cutlery and glassware, and everything you need to move straight in. Just bring yourself.
Yes. Weekly housekeeping is included with every Student Luxe stay, covering cleaning, fresh linen for the bedroom and fresh towels and toiletries for the bathroom. At some of our most high-end residences, it is every 2-3 days.
If you cancel less than 30 days before your check-in date, the first 90 days of the reservation will be charged. If you cancel after checking in, the break clause applies from the 90th night onwards - up to 28 nights' rent may be chargeable. If you're unsure, just ask us and we'll walk you through it. Building-specific cancellation policies may apply - we will always guide you through this and discuss your options.
Some apartments require a security deposit and some do not - this will be confirmed during your conversations with our reservations team. Where a deposit is required, it is managed by an independent third party (usually an independent escrow service).
