About the 4th Arr. of Paris
The 4th arrondissement sits at the historic heart of Paris, straddling the Seine and taking in the Île Saint-Louis, the southern half of Le Marais, and the area around Notre-Dame - one of the city's oldest, most atmospheric districts, with cobbled streets and grand 17th-century architecture alongside beloved cafés and boutiques. Pont Marie itself, right on the edge of the Seine, offers a quiet, residential feel just minutes from the city's major landmarks.
