About Tower Hill, London
Tower Hill sits on the eastern edge of the City of London, where the financial district meets the river. The Tower of London anchors the area, with Tower Bridge just beyond and the Thames path running along the water's edge. Fragments of the original Roman wall still stand near the station, alongside Trinity Square Gardens and All Hallows by the Tower, one of the oldest churches in the City.
Day to day, the area combines office life with steady visitor traffic around the Tower. A short walk east, St Katharine Docks offers a quieter setting of moored boats, cafés and restaurants. Leadenhall Market, the Sky Garden and the shops and dining of the City are within easy reach on foot, and Borough Market is just across the river.
Transport links are strong. Tower Hill Underground station is on the District and Circle lines, Tower Gateway connects to the DLR, and Fenchurch Street provides mainline rail services towards Essex. Bank, Liverpool Street and London Bridge are all close by, giving direct access to Canary Wharf, the West End and beyond.
