Everything you need to know about staying in a luxury serviced apartment near LSE during the Summer School, from session dates and payments to arrival and departure.
Yes. Student Luxe offers private summer accommodation near LSE: fully furnished, serviced apartments in Holborn and Covent Garden, many within a 5 to 10 minute walk of the Houghton Street campus. Choose from studios to four-bedroom apartments, each with a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, housekeeping and all bills included.
Studios within a 15-minute walk start from £5,821 for a 22-night session (about £265 a night), or around £2,911 each when two share. Apartments that sleep four can work out from about £2,010 per person. Prices are per apartment, not per person, and include bills, Wi-Fi, housekeeping and VAT.
Session One runs from 14 June to 2 July, Session Two from 5 to 23 July, and Session Three from 26 July to 13 August 2027. We recommend booking:
Session One: Friday 11 June to Saturday 3 July (22 nights)
Session Two: Saturday 3 July to Saturday 24 July (21 nights)
Session Three: Saturday 24 July to Saturday 14 August (21 nights)
You can also combine two or three sessions back to back.
Many of our summer residences are within a 15-minute walk of Houghton Street, in Holborn, Covent Garden and Farringdon, and the nearest, by Lincoln's Inn, are only 3 to 5 minutes away, or a couple of minutes by bike. Tell us what matters most and we'll recommend the best location.
It depends on what you value. LSE's summer residences usually cost less and include breakfast, but most rooms share bathrooms and kitchens, and you can only book once you have your course offer. A Student Luxe apartment gives you your own kitchen and bathroom, housekeeping, bills included and dates that fit your session, and you can secure it before your offer arrives.
No. Student Luxe is an independent provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the London School of Economics. We offer a private alternative to LSE halls for Summer School students who want their own space, hotel-style service and a central London location.
Some do, but many London apartments don't, as buildings are designed to hold heat. If air conditioning is essential, mention it when you enquire and we'll only suggest apartments that have it. You can also filter by air conditioning in the apartment search above.
Yes. We don't require a UK guarantor, a UK credit check or UK references, and you can book entirely from overseas. Our team is available by email, phone, WhatsApp and WeChat.
As early as possible. Our apartments near LSE are fully booked every summer, and the closest go first, so many students enquire as soon as Summer School applications open. To secure an apartment we take one week's rent by card (non-refundable), with the balance due 30 days later. Check-in is from 4:00 PM, so if you arrive in the morning, book from the night before.
Yes. Many of our summer bookings are made by parents. Select "Parent or guardian" when you enquire, and your Sales & Reservations Consultant will confirm whose name the booking and payments go in. Our team stays in touch throughout the stay.
